The 84th Annual Kirkland Chamber of Commerce Awards Celebration was held on December 12, 2019, at the Woodmark Hotel, in Kirkland, Washington. David Obelcz, our Principal Consultant, was among the individuals and businesses recognized for their commitment to the Chamber, the community, and the city, receiving the President's Award.
Chosen by the Chamber president, recipients of the President's Award are selected for their outstanding contributions to the growth of the Chamber and the business community while working mainly behind the scenes. "Over the past year, we've become the largest and most active Chamber of Commerce on the Eastside," said Kevin Hansen, 2019 Board President of the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce. "David has worked diligently supporting the Chamber and our members while promoting the community and the city."
"Today, I am honored and humbled to stand before you and accept this award," David told the audience. "I want to thank the Badon Hill Group family of Barbie, Christi, Jeff, and Lisa, for their hard work. I want to thank all of you for your counsel, support, and trust."
The Kirkland Chamber of Commerce had 547 members at the end of 2019, including EvergreenHealth, Google, GoDaddy, Puget Sound Energy, and Caliber Home Loans.
